Good Samaritans honored by Seattle Fire

The boaters who rescued a fisherman off Shilshole last month have been honored by Seattle Fire Chief Harold Scroggins with a letter of recognition.

Christa and Leo Ribas not only pulled the man out of the Sound after his 35-foot fishing boat sank, but they provided him with dry socks, dry shoes and money for a hotel.

Much deserved!
