At 10:15 last night, police closed the Ballard Bridge in both directions, and Seattle Fire was told to respond for “water rescue standby.”
While there’s no official word of the cause, it appears the response was for a person in crisis. The bridge reopened at 3 a.m. There’s no word on the status of the individual.

I was on a boat at the marina next door. It was a very tense and distressing situation. I hope she’s okay and gets help. My heart was aching for her.
Did they help her off the bridge or was she in the water?
It was a female on the bridge? My gf was distressed last night and I dont know where she is. I hope that was not her
