Java Bean closed for remodeling and rebranding

Java Bean is closed for a week while they make the transformation to Venture Coffee Co.

The coffee shop has been operating on 24th Ave NW for three decades as Java Bean, but they decided it was time for a change:

“Just as we built on tradition, we also value innovation,” they posted on their Facebook page.

We have exciting plans for the future and are ready to jump forward to a better version of ourselves. We are updating our look and reopening with a renewed excitement for you, our neighbors, and coffee. We are same team, same people; we will continue to source excellent coffee and provide amazing breakfast bagels. We are proud to reintroduce ourselves as Venture Coffee Co.

Java Bean employee Kelsi posted in the My Ballard Group that they’ll be reopening on March 4 with new equipment, floors, and counters.

Thanks Michael Allen Smith for the photo!
