This month’s Ballard District Council meeting is tomorrow (Wednesday, May 8) and will feature the Seattle Community Police Commission.
The commission was started in 2013, and is responsible for providing community-based oversight and police accountability. At the meeting, CPC Communication Advisor Jesse Franz and Community Engagement Specialist Nick Christian will present an overview of the program and its expanded scope, and will be answering questions following their presentation.
The meeting is open to the public and will be held from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Sunset Hill Community Association (3003 NW 66th St).
