  1. This is great…Ace is the place.

Also a sad goodbye to Jensen’s Smokehouse, at the other end of Holman. Now where am I going to get my snacks??

    1. Yes, that is sad. But, there will now be a gazillion more people right there in condos, all crawling over each other, and asking how’d we get so crowded here. Traffic will get worse, and our leaders will use this to further their agendas of mass transit, high gas prices, congestion fees, and ridding people of their autos. Maybe Jensen’s went online?

      1. What a terrible life to live where you either hate or are afraid of everything to the point where all you can envision is a terrible dystopian future that will never come to pass!

      2. Paintking, on the bright side, if they are going to pack people into condos and apartments with no parking provided at least the mass transit will keep them mobile and encourage them to use car share and public transit rather than own a car. That keeps them out of your way.

  2. Happy to have an Ace in the neighborhood. I’ll still try to go to Stoneway Hardware first to keep my money local but the Ace location is easier to access from my house.

    1. Hi Freja, Thanks for the support! I’d Like to let you know that we at Tweedy and Popp at Crown Hill are an independently owned hardware store, with roots in Seattle that goes back over the last 99 Years. Like most Ace Hardware retailers, we are an independent franchise. You can still shop with us AND support local businesses as we have been supporting Seattle and its locals for the last near Century.

      1. I actually took my lawnmower in for sharpening when I learned it was a Tweedy and Popp. Great location, easy access and parking. This is my new go to hardware store. I am so happy to have this in the neighborhood.
