The B.F. Day playground will soon be renovated, and Seattle Parks is asking for input to determine the new design elements.
Seattle Parks has created an online survey to gauge community feedback on renovation options. In the survey, you can vote for up to five design elements for the playground, such as slides, spinning features, rock climbing, play panels, swings, and several others.
The project will include new play equipment and picnic area improvements, such as a new drinking fountain and ADA upgrades.
In addition to the survey, Seattle Parks will host a public meeting to discuss the new playground options. The meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6pm to 7:30pm at B.F. Day School in the cafeteria (3921 Linden Ave N.).
Another meeting will be on Dec. 5 to present the design plans and collect final feedback.
