RV fire overnight near Market Street

Update 9am: Seattle Fire says the cause of the fire is undetermined due to the extent of the damage, but estimate the loss at $300.

Original: An RV caught fire just after midnight near the corner of 28th Ave NW and NW Market St.

Lauri Miller posted news of the fire in the My Ballard Group, saying she heard on the scanner that firefighters were responding to an RV fire in front of a commercial building near the railroad tracks.

There were no reported injuries, and the fire was under control by 2am. We’ve reached out to Seattle Fire for more details, and will update with any new information.
