Majestic Bay Theatre closes temporarily for virus concerns

Ballard’s beloved movie theater, Majestic Bay, has announced it is now closed while coronavirus spreads.

“We have made the decision to temporarily close our doors at Majestic Bay Theatres, effective immediately,” the sign on the front of the theater reads. “This was a decision our family chose to make for the safety and wellbeing of our staff and patrons.”

Thanks Brendan Vaughn for the tip, and for posting the above photo on Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

  1. They should just show “Contagion” non-stop on all three screens, with discount tickets for Ballard’s Boomers so they can get away from Fox News for a few hours.

It might help them relax a little and not worry about things like “where will I park my car?” or “will I get a nose bleed in a building higher than a craftsman?” or “why is that foreign looking person walking behind me?” or “Should I report that person I don’t recognize walking by my house carrying a ukulele on Next-door?”

    1. WTF does FOX news have to do with this? In fact, their ratings are very high, except here, where people are mind-numbed robotic leftists. Do they have FOX news in N. Korea? Should we all just simply feel how you do then?

  2. The Majestic Bay Theatre, a community theater company in Fort Myers, Florida, announced on Wednesday that it will be closed for the next few days to help with concerns about the spread of a virus. The theater said in a statement that it is “working closely with local health officials” and will reopen soon.
