Police seek witnesses for hit-and-run at Ballard Fred Meyer

Seattle Police are looking for information about a hit-and-run that happened Thursday, March 19 at the Ballard Fred Meyer.

An adult female sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in the Fred Meyer parking lot last Thursday at noon.

Police say the driver failed to stop and struck the woman, and then fled the scene. The woman was sent to Harborview Medical Center with severe injuries.

Detectives are hoping to speak with anyone who may have been in the area at the time and witnessed the collision. Please contact the SPD Violent Crimes Tipline at (206) 233-5000 if you have information.
