Friday Night Lights tour returns to city streets this weekend

This weekend, Seattle Fire will do another Friday Night Lights tour, teaming up with Seattle Police to help boost morale around the city.

Last Friday, the tour rolled through the north end of each fire district; this Friday, the tour will be circling through the south end of each fire district. The time was moved up by half an hour, which means the fire engines and police cars will be out from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.

Here’s the map for Ballard (click here for the full city map):

The drive-thrus will focus on highly residential areas and streets with assisted living and long-term care facilities.

“Bring your family members and kids to the window or doorstep of your house and make some noise as we drive by!” Seattle Fire shared on Facebook. “Fire and police rigs will flash their lights to let you know that we are here to serve and are #SeattleTogether during this challenging time of battling COVID-19.”

Crews will remain in service during the tours, and will respond to emergencies if needed. They ask that residents adhere to distancing guidelines and not approach rigs as they drive by.

  1. I am sad that I missed them last week – I just didn’t think the trucks would come down our street so we went out to the main street and totally missed them. :-(
