Plans are in the works to build a 7-story apartment on the corner of 20th Ave NW and NW 57th St.
The updated application is for an 80-unit apartment with 44 parking spots. Two houses on NW 57th St and a building that contains a law firm and the Consulate General of Iceland would be torn down for the development.

The architects are GGLO Design, who have drawn up the mock-ups for the new apartment complex. (You can review their full design packet via Seattle in Progress.)
The application is currently under review; if you want to file written comments you can send mail to Department of Construction & Inspections, 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019 or email PRC@seattle.gov.
