Next week, the Sunset Hill Community Association will host a Bloodworks NW pop-up blood drive for three days at their clubhouse in Ballard (3003 NW 66th St).
To donate blood, you must sign up first for an appointment block on one of the pop-up days; Sept. 16-18. The hours are 11am to 6pm on Sept. 16, and 10am to 6pm on the following two days.
All donors are required to wear masks or face coverings during their appointments; you must bring your own to your scheduled donation time.
Bloodworks will also be testing each donation for COVID-19 antibodies. Donors will be notified of the results by mail within two weeks of donation.
It wasn’t completely clear from the signup page, but you cannot select a date/time on that page (unlike other BloodWorks appointments). You need to send an email to schedule@bloodworksnw.org.
