A new bottle shop has opened on the corner of 24th Ave NW and NW 64th St in the former Green Market.
It’s called Outpouring Bottle Shop, opening to the public today at 2 p.m.The bottle shop will sell local craft beer on tap and to-go, wine, liquor, and serve “tasty bites,” according to their website. The former Green Market space has been completely reimagined from its previous life as a small grocer: Customers can now sit at the wrap-around bar in the center of the bottle shop, or at one of many smaller tables scattered in the front of the store.
Green Market closed its doors back in September 2019, citing the difficulty in competing with the plethora of other grocery stores in Ballard. The Outpouring took over in April, and they’ve been renovating ever since.
The Outpouring will be open Monday to Thursday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m. to midnight.
“To keep everyone safe and relaxed, we’re checking everyone’s vax cards (please be prepared to show yours at the door – take a photo and add it to your favorites if you haven’t already) and ask that you keep your mask on when not seated,” the owner shared on Instagram.
