Ballard HolidayFest returns to Ballard Ave in December

In early December, Santa Claus will be coming to Ballard for the annual HolidayFest.

Ballard HolidayFest will be on Saturday, December 4 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Marvin’s Garden Park. Santa will be at the Bell Tower for free photos with kids, complete with free popcorn, treat bag giveaways, live music, and the Tomte Trail prize giveaway.

The Tomte Trail is a Ballard Alliance program in which local businesses give out Tomte passport stamps for customers who can spot the Jul-Tomte somewhere inside the store. There are 26 participating businesses (check out the full list here), and passport-holders who get at least 10 stamps can enter the grand prize drawing for a chance to with a family membership to the National Nordic Museum.

The community event is organized by the Seattle Office of Economic Development, the Ballard Alliance, and volunteers from the Ballard business community.
