The North Face opening showroom in historical Bleitz Building next to Fremont Bridge

The North Face is gearing up to open an office and showroom* in North Queen Anne at 316 S. Florentia St., just next to the Fremont Bridge along the Ship Canal.

The Registry reports that The North Face will occupy over 6,000 square feet within the Fremont Crossing campus, with offices and a retail showroom.

Seattle development firm Pastakia + Associates designed the Fremont Crossing, which includes two buildings: One is a new 4-story building and the other is the 3-story historical Bleitz Building, originally built in 1921 as a funeral home. The North Face is the first Fremont Crossing tenant and will be moving into the remodeled Bleitz Building.

The Bleitz Building has been upgraded with operable windows and an upgraded HVAC system with fresh air flushing every 1.25 hours, “designed for the post-COVID-19 world.”

*Correction: The North Face will not be open to retail customers, as was previously reported.
