The Ballard WeWork is reopening their Ballard location after closing in mid-2021.
WeWork, which first opened in December 2019 on the corner of 15th Ave NW and NW Market St (1448 NW Market St), shut down its brand new office space in June 2021.
A representative from WeWork says the company “had been conducting an in-depth review of our global real estate portfolio in order to optimize our assets and operations around the world,” and the Ballard closure was part of that optimization process.*
The reopening comes with a discounted rate for the first month: The Ballard Alliance has partnered up with WeWork to offer 50% for the first month for new tenants.
The office space is located on the fifth** floor of the new-ish development on the northeast corner of 15th and Market. The Ballard location can accommodate 730 members, private meeting rooms, a communal kitchen, and community bar.
Daily desk rates go for $29, with meeting rooms costing $10 per seat per hour.
