The annual Seattle Scotch and Beer Fest is happening this weekend in Fremont after a pandemic pause.
The festival will take place on Friday, April 15, and Saturday, April 16 at Fremont Studios (155 N 35th St). Participants will choose from two different tasting flights: the Scotch “Across the Pond” Flight featuring tastings from The Glenlivet and Aberlour or the “South of the Border” Flight, which will feature six different Mexican tequilas and mezcals.
The festival will also feature experts leading seminars on how to properly smell, taste, and enjoy Scotch.
Alongside the spirits, the festival will also have over 40 craft beers, ciders, and seltzers on tap for tasting from West Coast brewers.
Tickets are available online, and guests can choose from three admission types, which include the option to purchase admission to one of the limited-seating Top Shelf Seminars. The seminars will be led by industry experts Jenna Murray (aka @thescotchmadame) and Dominic Venegas.
The event is also a fundraiser for the Youth Experiential Training Institute (Y.E.T.I.).
