The 3-on-3 youth basketball at the Ballard Elks is returning for its second year.
The Ballard Elks and DYSports are putting on the 2nd Annual Shilshole Bay Showcase on August 13th and 14th. The basketball tournament is for boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 18 and will take place in the Ballard Elks parking lot.
DYSports founder John Verduin tells My Ballard that he hopes to build on the success of the first event last year.
“Having a community event for youth within Ballard along our great waterfront was very appealing and continuing to team with the Elks, who has been in our community for over 100 years, makes it even more special,” Verduin said.
The tournament provides a three-game guarantee for all teams, and divisions will be established by age group and boys/girls. The entry fee is $135 per team, and the deadline to register is Monday, August 8 at 11:45 p.m. (Register online here)
