The locally owned toy store Clover Toys on Ballard Ave is moving to a new location in the Ballard Blocks (4609 14th Ave NW).
Clover Toys owner Brittney Geleynse took over the shop in 2017, but it opened nearly two decades ago in 2004. Geleynse tells My Ballard that the new location will be larger and will “provide needed space to display the unique items we carry.”
Clover sources toys all over the world with “sustainability, developmental levels, creativity, and promoting learning” in mind, Geleynse said. The new store will allow her to expand her product offerings and make it easier for customers to browse.
Geleynse will be giving customers coupons to use at the new location, which she says will be open on Dec. 1.
