Wedding dress designer Madison Leiren has lost over $100,000 after burglars broke into her shop at 8309 15th Ave NW last Thursday.
Leiren, who owns Leiren Designs, told KIRO that the burglars took over 20 dresses in all. She says the crime happened the day before the Seattle Wedding Show.
Leiren told KIRO the crime appeared to be premeditated: The burglars had cut the breakers prior to breaking in.
No word yet on whether SPD has any leads, but we’ll update you with any new information.
