SDOT to replace traffic barrier gate on Ballard Bridge on Saturday

This Saturday, March 4, crews will be out replacing the northbound traffic barrier gate on the Ballard Bridge.

SDOT says the northbound right lane will be closed for the work, which will be performed between 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Both southbound lanes will remain open during the work. The bike and pedestrian pathway will remain open for most of the time during the work, but SDOT says people may be asked to dismount and walk their bike through the work area, or briefly wait while heavy equipment is moved across the pathway.
