From Fremont Market to Ballard Ave: Aviv Jewelry opens permanent location in downtown Ballard

A new jewelry store has opened at 5337 Ballard Ave NW.

Owner and designer Lucia Mondella got her start with Aviv Jewelry by selling laser-cut and wire jewelry at the Fremont Market. She’s now made the move to a brick-and-mortar, selling her jewelry on Ballard Ave along with a new line of sculptural candles.

Mondella plans to also offer jewelry services and will host a rotating roster of local artists “who need a space to showcase their art and don’t have access to a gallery,” she tells My Ballard.

The store is open now, but she’ll be hosting a grand opening on May 13 to coincide with the Ballard Art Walk.
