The Bartell Drugs on 15th and NW Market St will be closing next month.
An employee told My Ballard that the last day of business will be June 8.
The store has been a target for shoplifting and crime over the years. In 2020, Bartell Drugs Sr. Vice President of Operations Ken Mahoney told the Ballard Alliance that the assistant manager was assaulted, saying “employees are plagued by habitual shoplifters and harassment.”
The 15th and Market Bartell Drugs opened in 2014.
No word yet on what will become of the space, but we’ll update you with any new information.
