The 4th annual Sunset Hill Walking Art Fair is returning this summer, and the organizers are looking for more vendors.
Organized by the Sunset Hill Community Association (SHCA), the walking art fair will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 29.
As part of the event, Sunset Hill artists are invited to exhibit their crafts at their homes—usually in the front yard or patio—so passersby can view and purchase art directly from the artists.
This year, along with the walking art tour, the SHCA clubhouse (3003 NW 66th St) will also host artists. Participants can either register their home addresses for the walking tour map or choose to set up on one of the two floors of the clubhouse. They have space for about 14 artists, and the location will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
To sign up as an artist, register online by July 1. The registration fee costs $15—proceeds will be used to promote materials and supplies for the event.
