Tom Douglas’s Serious Pie Ballard opening for indoor seating starting this week

The Tom Douglas & Co. venture Serious Pie Ballard is opening up for indoor seating starting Oct. 12.

Serious Pie opened in April 2020 as a take-out pizza restaurant at 5118 14th Ave NW in Ballard. It’s now going to start serving cocktails, beer, and wine alongside offering indoor dining.

Serious Pie will have 30 seats and an indoor, communal table along with picnic tables on their loading dock. They’ll serve happy hour Wednesday to Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.—operating hours will be Wednesday to Friday 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturdays from noon to 9 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.

The restaurant will still do takeout pizza orders, but people wanting to eat indoors or on the patio will have to secure a table before ordering.
