Ballard Library bringing back its free Sunday board games after pausing during the pandemic

After almost four years, the Ballard Library is bringing back its popular once-monthly Sunday board game days.

The library halted its board game events during the pandemic and hadn’t restarted the tradition until now. The games take place in the Ballard Library meeting room; it’s free to the public and open to all ages.

Librarian Jonathan Koroshec tells My Ballard they have everything from amateur checkers to advanced chess to role-playing games (RPGs).

You can bring your own games to the events, or borrow from the library’s gaming closet.

The first board game day is Sunday, December 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
