A new used bookstore is opening this weekend in Ballard.
It’s called Ballard Books, and it’s moving into a spot that’s been home to a bookstore for most of its history at 5416 20th Ave NW.
Owner Nils Dickmann tells My Ballard he plans to open the doors to the public on Sunday, Dec. 10 at 1 p.m.
“We will be featuring some items from local bookbinders and artists as well as many fine used and rare books,” Dickmann said in an email to My Ballard.
Ballard Books’ hours will be Wednesday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They’re closed on Monday and Tuesday.
