The Mexican restaurant Matador is celebrating its 20th anniversary soon.
Matador opened in 2004 on the corner of NW Market St and Ballard Ave, where it operated for 17 years. In 2021, the restaurant moved to 5410 Ballard Ave NW to the former Ballard Annex Oyster House location.
Matador is throwing an anniversary party to celebrate its two decades: On Saturday, Feb. 3 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
“Come celebrate with us as we commemorate two decades of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and unforgettable memories at the Ballard Matador,” the event information reads.
Tickets to the event cost $20, which includes access to the party and entertainment, tray-passed bites, one cocktail, and a raffle ticket.
Matador also has locations in West Seattle, Tacoma, Redmond, Boise, Portland, and South Carolina.
