Man seriously injured in Monday morning shooting in Ballard

A man was injured in a shooting early Monday in Ballard.

The Seattle Police Department says 911 Dispatch received a report of a shooting in the parking lot at 14th Ave NW and NW Market St at 7 a.m. on Monday, July 1.

SPD says that while they were investigating, a man was dropped off at Swedish Medical Center in Ballard with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was then transported to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.
