Councilmember Dan Strauss to host town hall on June 18

Seattle City Councilmember Dan Strauss will host a District 6 town hall on Wednesday, June 18, offering residents the opportunity to connect directly and discuss neighborhood priorities, city initiatives, and community concerns.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Magnolia Branch of the Seattle Public Library, located at 2801 34th Ave. W.

Community members are encouraged to attend and bring their questions or feedback on topics affecting District 6, which includes Ballard, Fremont, Green Lake, and surrounding neighborhoods. You can RSVP and submit questions ahead of the event online.

“It’s a busy year for the Seattle City Council—between taking actions on the Comprehensive Plan, addressing the City’s budget deficit, and so much more, there’s a lot to talk about. I want to take this opportunity to hear your thoughts and work with you to address your concerns on the issues most important to you,” Councilmember Strauss wrote in his newsletter about the town hall.

Translation and interpreter services will be available for attendees who email joel.raphael@seattle.gov at least 72 hours before the event.

Councilmember Strauss also holds weekly office hours at his District 6 office for one-on-one meetings with constituents. Residents interested in scheduling a meeting can sign up through his official city webpage.
