The market is part of a broader small business incubation program, created and managed by the Ballard Alliance. It offers affordable space, mentorship, and staff support for new and emerging retail businesses looking to establish a presence in Ballard.

The program is funded in part by Congressionally Directed Spending secured by U.S. Senator Patty Murray in 2024 and administered through the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Smål Market will share merchant updates and behind-the-scenes content on Instagram at @smalmarketballard.
