Seattle police temporarily evacuated the Ballard Goodwill store on Thursday after employees reported a suspicious package in a donation bin.
SPD told My Ballard that officers responded to the location at 6400 8th Ave NW and closed nearby roads as a precaution. The Seattle Police Department’s Arson/Bomb Squad was called to examine the package, which unknown individuals had dropped off.
After investigating, the bomb squad determined the item was not hazardous, and the area was reopened.
