A new outdoor retail store and community space just opened in Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood.
The Fremont store, located at the CornerStone Campus (3524 Stone Way), is Snow Peak‘s fourth North American retail location. Snow Peak is a Japanese outdoor lifestyle brand, and the Seattle store marks the company’s first new retail opening since 2014.

The 3,700-square-foot space sells camping equipment, outdoor living essentials, and apparel. Snow Peak also plans to host gear demonstrations, community gatherings, and outdoor education events.
According to the company, the store’s design draws on its concept of “noasobi,” described as the art of being outside. The space was developed in collaboration with evolution Projects, a real estate firm co-founded by evo founder Bryce Phillips.
Snow Peak’s grand opening is scheduled for May 8, with events continuing through May 10. The company says the grand opening weekend will include food and beverages from local partners, product demonstrations, and opportunities to meet staff and team members from its Portland headquarters.
Regular store hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Founded in Japan in 1958, Snow Peak has operated in the U.S. for more than 20 years and runs retail locations in Portland, Seattle, and Brooklyn, along with hospitality offerings including a restaurant and campground.
