New murals bring color to the Ballard Brewery District

The Ballard Brewery District is home to several new murals.

The project to beautify the Ballard Brewery District started in mid-May, when a collection of local artists was commissioned to paint large-scale murals in four locations around Ballard.

  • 950 NE Leary — Stevie Shao
  • 1415 NW 52nd Street — They Drift
  • 4612 NW Leary Way — B Line Dot
  • Bay Auto, 5015 14th Ave — Craig Cundiff

Brewery District Mural Week was created by Aaron Asis, with support from the Office of Councilmember Dan Strauss and members of the Ballard community. Asis and Strauss toured the new murals and met several of the artists upon their completion in May.
