National Nordic Museum to host free World Cup watch party for Norway vs. England

Update: The National Nordic Museum has announced that the event is sold out and has limited capacity.

Original: Ballard’s National Nordic Museum (2655 NW Market St) will open its doors Saturday for a free community watch party as Norway faces England in the quarterfinals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The event will take place on Saturday, July 11, in the museum’s Osberg Great Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m., with kickoff scheduled for 2 p.m.

According to the National Nordic Museum, the watch party is an opportunity for fans to cheer on Norway’s men’s national team and gather with fellow supporters in the heart of Ballard.

The match will be shown on the large screen in Osberg Great Hall. Freya Cafe will be open during the event, serving Nordic-inspired food and drinks.

The watch party is free to attend. Visitors who also wish to tour the museum’s exhibitions will need to purchase separate museum admission.
