Tusen Takk for registering for our 3rd Annual Beard Competition! All beards and all genders welcome. Contestants will be judged on three equally weighted criteria: grooming, originality, and presentation (the night of the event). We are liberal with our interpretation of “beard”.

If you’d like to compete, we kindly ask you to fill out our entry form. The contest will begin at 8pm on Friday Jan 26th. Our judges will be three local “Viking” personalities. Prizes will be awarded to the top three finalists with the grand prize being a $100 Skål gift card and a one night stay at the Viking Airbnb, The Jarl’s Yurt at Folkvangr.

Contestants will be asked to strut their stuff in front of the judges to a musical accompaniment of their choice. Viking gear is welcomed but not required. Be uniquely you!

There will be unique kitchen and bar specials for the evening, including a massive Berkshire Tomahawk Pork Chop with juniper sauerkraut and garlic herb roasted potatoes. Feeds two for $65.
