Hourglass Footwear opens showroom in Ballard

LindaWuHu5Hourglass Footwear recently opened a showroom in Ballard at 1807 NW Dock Place (on the corner of Dock and Russell). The showroom is now open from noon to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Hourglass Footwear is a Seattle-based, women-owned company founded by Kira Bundlie and Lisa Strom. The ladies makes bold and edgy shoes that are one-of-a-kind, 100 percent original and each pair is hand-painted to order by Seattle-area artists and designers. We ran a story about the team when they started their company back in 2012.

Bundlie and Strom are excited to showcase their shoes to the Ballard community in their new showroom. “Customers can stop in, meet the artists behind their favorite designs, try on our gorgeous, hand-painted shoes, and even order a custom pair of their own (or take home one of more than 100 ready-to-wear designs on display at the shop!),” writes Bundlie.

Their most popular shoe at the moment, unsurprisingly, is their Seahawks-inspired “12th Woman” design (pictured above) which is available to be painted in flats, mid-heels, stilettos, platforms, and clogs. The Hourglass team are currently offering a 12% discount on the “12th Woman” shoes until close of business Thursday, January 23.

  1. I’m not so sure about that “12th Woman” shoe.
Maybe if you’re going for that “Peggy Hill leaving-the-bowling-alley” look.

Nonetheless I wish you luck and welcome to the neighborhood!

  2. When it comes to clothing, you should be cautious and select the most dependable and high-quality items; it is critical that you do not need to replace them, and so on. I used to buy poor clothes and have to switch them multiple times, wasting a lot of time. And now I’ve discovered piufashionlook phone number , which I was able to contact, speak with, and clarify the size range, among other things. That made it much easier for me to choose my attire.
