Looks like it’s going to be another beautiful weekend in Ballard!
Northwest Senior Center Huge 2009 Spring Rummage Sale is going on today and tomorrow at the corner of NW Market and 32nd NW.Saturday morning is the East Ballard Walking Tour. Meet at 10 a.m. at Cafe’ Bambino (405 NW 65th). The 2-hour walk will end at Crash Landing Pizza.Saturday is also the “Kidical Mass” ride. Meet at Salmon Bay School at 10:30 a.m. then head out at 11 a.m. through Ballard to meet up with the Burke Gilman extension and ride to Golden Gardens.Also on Saturday is “Aloha Night at the Sons of Norway.” Starting at 5 p.m., it’s the last happy hour of the summer. (2245 NW 57th St.)And Saturday evening is the Second Saturday Ballard ArtWalk! The rummage sale got twenty five of my dollars this morning. I went home with a vintage check writing machine called the “Protectograph” which I love!

I will be heading to Dissonant Plane on Saturday night. They are having an instore with tons of experimental music acts. should be real weird.
