Stun gun attack suspects arrested

Four people suspected in a series of stun gun attacks in Ballard, Fremont and Greenwood have been arrested. Officers tell us that a 17-year-old girl and 22-year-old man were arrested in the 13400 block of Greenwood Ave N on May 28th. This morning a 21-year-old female was arrested in the 13700 block of 32nd Ave NE and is currently being questioned. A 25-year-old female is currently being taken to police headquarters from Burien, where she was just arrested.

In addition to the three cases that have already made news, police believe the group is also responsible for robbing people in Sand Point and Maple Leaf. All the victims were females, some elderly, and most were attacked when loading or unloading items from their vehicles. The attacks occurred between May 17th and May 24th.

  1. What a relief! I look forward to hearing the details about how they found them. Hope they got the right folks and the course of justice runs smooth.

  2. We’d be hard pressed to come up with a bigger bunch of cowards than this group. Attacking women, with a stun gun, while they’re distracted.
Hopefully they get put away for a long time.

  3. When I heard about this last week I thought “That’s it – Vashon here I come!”. I’m glad they found these creeps.

On another note – Hubby yelled at two guys last week after realizing they bought crack right outside our house (near 60th/24th).

Hubby said they were white, bought from a nice vehicle (sorry can’t remember make/model right now) and generally loitered around for a while before hand.

Because of an attempted mugging last summer we have become very vigilant with security at our house. Please be careful out there – with more people visiting Ballard during the summer, there are more predators.
