Just after 10:30 last night, many people awoke to or heard the sirens heading to a “heavy rescue” response at 16th Ave NW and NW 80th St. According to Detective Renee Witt with Seattle Police, a vehicle ended up on its side and the driver had to be extricated by Seattle Fire. Witt writes in the blotter that the driver was the only person in the car and she was transported to Northwest Hospital by private ambulance with unknown injuries. No details on how the car ended up on its side.
