Hale’s Ales turns 32 on Saturday

_logoOne of the original breweries in the neighborhood turns another year older this weekend; Frelard’s Hale’s Ales is celebrating their 32nd birthday on Saturday.

Founder Mike Hale started Hale’s back in 1983 with handful of other microbrewery pioneers. Now, Hale’s is one of many independent breweries that makes our neighborhood a haven for beer-lovers.

To celebrate, they’ll be featuring their newest collaboration beers they’ve brewed with Diamond Knot & Chuckanut Breweries, Watershed and 74th St Alehouses. They’ll have their Bourbon Barrel Aged Akademic Black Ale, nitro Cream Ale, Cask Conditioned Supergoose IPA and our recently released Bill’sner Pils, the brewery’s first commercially released lager. “Grab a Keg-to-Go, say “happy birthday” and get a free t-shirt and two pint glasses with your keg,” Hale’s tells us.
