Wild & Scenic Film Fest coming to Tractor Tavern

A one-day film festival is coming to Tractor Tavern, and the organizers are looking for a few good volunteers.

On January 22, local small-farm business incubator Viva Farms will be presenting a selection of films from the Wild & Scenic Film Festival, which is held annually just outside of Nevada City, CA. The films all center around the importance of sustainable agriculture, land conservation, and environmental activism.

The organizers tell My Ballard that they need multiple volunteers for the event. They’re looking for help setting up, greeting, tabling, selling swag and raffle tickets, and taking down at the end of the night. Shifts will be between 4pm and 12am. All volunteers will receive free admission, complimentary appetizers, and a drink ticket. To sign up, contact the lead volunteer organizer Rachel at rachel@vivafarms.org.

The event is 21+, and tickets are $25.
