Next week, a group of environmental organizations are presenting a talk about oil drilling proposed for the West Coast, and the impact that would have on the world’s rarest whale.
Ballard-based environmental education and sail training program Deep Green Wilderness is joining together with the Surfrider Foundation and Earthjustice to talk about the threat of offshore oil drilling. Kevin Campion, founder of Deep Green Wilderness and captain of S/V Orion will be speaking about the impact oil drilling would have on the rare Pacific right whale.
