Ballard’s one and only dog show is coming up soon.
The Dogs of Ballard Dog Show, to be held on Sunday, Sept. 8th at Ballard Commons Park, will include three categories: Best in Show, Best Costume, and Best Trick. There will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes for the winners.
Space is limited for the dog show — you can register your pooch online.
It’s been a long time coming for the Dogs of Ballard — last year’s event was postponed because of wildfire smoke, rescheduled, and ultimately canceled for bad weather.
Hosted by Visit Ballard, the dog show will be from 1pm to 3pm. The event is completely free, and will include dog treats from Porter’s Pride and Dirtie Dog photography will be on hand for photos of the contestants.
