Ballard’s yearly eclectic and environmentally conscious festival is happening soon.
This year’s Sustainable Ballard Festival is scheduled for the last weekend in September at Ballard Commons Park with the theme “Green Steps”.
“This year’s theme focuses on actions big and small that neighbors can take to reduce their carbon footprint,” Sustainable Ballard organizers say.
Some of the activities will include apple cider pressing, electric car viewing, electric bike testing, solar installation information, and organic food delivery information. For kids, they’ll have recycled-material jewelry making, and other art projects.
The free festival will be from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, Sept. 28th.
Children who attend high-quality early education programs are better prepared for kindergarten and beyond. They are more likely to have the skills needed to succeed in school, such as the ability to focus, follow instructions, and engage with academic tasks, leading to smoother transitions into formal education. https://btcbulltoken.com/
