Peddler Brewing to celebrate Oktoberfest this weekend

If you missed the East Ballard and Fremont Oktoberfests, you’re in luck: Peddler Brewing is hosting their own fall beerfest this weekend.

It’s called the PedFest Celebration, and will be on Sunday, Sept. 29 from 3pm to 7pm in their beer garden (1514 NW Leary Way). They’ll have Oktoberfest-themed contests throughout the day, including yodeling, stein-holding, and a costume contest.

Their drink specials will be local beer tasters (4 for $8) from Peddler, Lucky Envelope, Urban Family, Best of Hands Barrelhouse, and Bad Jimmy’s.

They’ll also have limited edition PedFest Steins — $14 will get you your own stein plus two pints (while supplies last).

Yodeling will start at 4pm — “points for creativity and volume,” they say. The stein-holding contest starts at 5pm. Winners will get a Peddler growler and fill.

The costume contest is open to both dogs and humans — a winner from each category will get a $25 Peddler gift card.

They’ll also have a photobooth going all day, plus live music from The Professors and food from Mean Sandwich and Cycle Dogs.
