The 4th annual Running of the Beavers 5k fundraiser is coming up next month.
The 5k is organized by Ballard High School, and serves as a benefit for the B BHS Foundation, supporting the athletic, cheer, dance, and band programs.
The fun run/walk is scheduled for 9am at Golden Gardens on March 28. The starting line will be near the bathhouse, and the route will head south along the Burke Gilman Trail to the train tracks, which is the turnaround point. The finish line is back at the park, with an extra loop on the beach.
