UPDATE: Missing Ballard teen found downtown

Update July 8, 3pm: India was found in downtown Seattle; her father says someone identified her after seeing a post on social media.

Original July 8, 10am: An amber alert has been issued for a 13-year-old girl named India who was reported missing this morning in Ballard.

Her father, Jason Fink, says she wasn’t in her room this morning, and posted the below photo on Twitter. He says she no longer has pink braids, but notes that she has a severe learning disability.

        1. Maybe if we allocated less funds for police and military, and more funds to education and mental health programs, less people would go missing and we’d need less police.
