Tonight’s Ballard District Council meeting to discuss Market St projects

Tonight will be the second online Ballard District Council meeting, with a focus on Market Street development.

There will be presentations on two of the new property developments: the new Aegis Living complex at 949 NW Market St, and the Ballard Yards project at 2417 NW Market St. There will also be a planning and policy discussion with Seattle District 6 Councilmember Dan Strauss.

The meeting can be streamed on the BDC YouTube channel from 7 – 8pm tonight, and will also be available for later viewing. Here’s the agenda:

  • 7:00 – 7:10 Intro and opening remarks
  • 7:10 – 7:25 Bryon Ziegler, Aegis Living Ballard (5-story building, 68 assisted living apartments for seniors and 24 memory care apartments)
  • 7:20 – 7:35 Frank Stiegl, Ballard Yards (7-story, 171-unit apartment building with restaurant/retail space)
  • 7:35 – 7:45 Councilmember Strauss re: City and D6 role in planning and Development in downtown Ballard
  • 7:45-8:00 Q&A
