The southbound lanes of Aurora Bridge are closed this morning after a two-alarm fire sent six people to the hospital; three are in critical condition.
The fire started just after 5am this morning on the 2400 block of Aurora Ave N. The fire was under control by about 6:30am and the northbound lanes of Aurora reopened by 7:30am, but the southbound lanes will remain closed from Valley Street to N. 38th Street until the area is cleaned up.
The southbound lanes of the bridge will be open to buses only; drivers should seek alternate routes downtown.
No word yet on the cause of the fire, but we’ll update with any new info.
